CD Audio from the series of work entitled "Absences" (2002) which explores the Highland Clearances, an ethnic-cleansing of native peasant farmers in Scotland in the 19th-century to make way for (more profitable) sheep-farming. The exhibition included digital prints and a CD sound-track (Catalogue available here) and was the first sound installation in the Czech Republic. This Audio CD contains the soundtrack of whispered male and female voises which accompanied the exhibition. The voices narrate the often brutal events of the Clearances and are taken from contemporary eye-witness accounts.
